for Notting Hill Carnival Weekend. neXt Level Poison UK, the UK's premier Caribbean lifestyle events company it's
2008 weekend of events on the Notting Hill Carnival August Bank Holiday
Weekend.
"We're going to give London a taste of what it is like to
party in true Caribbean
Style" said Martin Jay, Director of the events company. "As such our launch will
unveil the other exciting and varied signature events that we have in store for the
2008/2009 season" said Mr Jay.
This year the
neXt Level PoisonUK has teamed up with media giants
MTV Baseand
Choice FM to bring the trendier side of the Caribbean to London. The three
companies are combining forces to put on one of the best floats on the road at
this year's carnival.
On Friday 22nd August our
annual Carnival Concert will take place @ The
Forum in Kentish Town and will feature
Machel Montano and his band together
with
Ricky T from St Lucia and
Lil Rick from Barbados. This event takes London
to fever pitch as 2,300 plus carnival lovers descend on the Forum to witness
Soca at its very very best. Tickets are on sale for this event already. It is
definitely one not to be missed and is always sold out! The partying continues at
the
After Party at Se1 Club as fans and performers mingle, party and work up a
sweat till 8am on Saturday morning.
Carnival Saturday 23rd August Next Level PUK put on the
Ultimate All
Inclusive party in a big country manor in Radlett, Herts. This soiree invites you
to dress up and indulge in top class Caribbean cuisine an endless supply of
drinks and mixed cocktails and enjoy the sweet sounds of carnival. Trinidad's

Canal who will be touring Europe will be headlining this event which starts @
4pm and goes on till 11pm. Also performing will be Anslem 'Who let the dogs
out' Douglas. Social networking at its best!

Carnival Sunday 24th August is time for the Kids, and neXt Level PoisonUK
takes to the streets of Notting Hill with its 'Diable Diable' portrayal. The energy
exerted by the little people is always a treat as well as a taste to come on the
next day. Music, colour, fun and excitement all in one.
Carnival Monday will see neXt Level and its partners putting on the biggest
moving party the streets of Notting Hill have seen for a long time. With over 700
costumed masqueraders being tempted into the 'Forbidden' zone. The floats will
be full of sound and celebrities, food and drinks will flow in an all-inclusive
manner as they navigate their way around the carnival circuit. "If you think that
spectating is fun then try participating" said Lennox Alleyne, neXt Level Carnival
Director.
neXt Level switches the pace somewhat in October with a
Pan Jazz Concert to
commemorate
Black History Month. This concert promises to be the first true
event of its kind to be held in the UK. It will bring the masters of the Pan Jazz
together with several international Steel Pannist all on the one stage. We are
confident that London is ready for this event that has made its mark in several
