WiSPA 2008
Have you ever wondered what contribution
women of Caribbean origin are making to society, politics, cultures, and intellectual traditions? How is Caribbean womanhood defined and articulated? Who captures this information so that other women and children can share and learn from these experiences?
WiSPA is a creative haven where women writers meet annually for
two weeks in Negril, Jamaica to do just this. It is a melting pot of creativity where female poets, writers, journalists, authors and broadcasters develop and share skills and knowledge in an effort to preserve our traditions.
WiSPA 2008 takes place between 24th November and the 8th December at Jackie's-on-the-reef in Negril, Jamaica . For more information, email
